Knights of Columbus

St. Mary's

Imagine being part of an organization that fills your heart and your mind with the joy of giving to others and the feeling that comes with making a difference.

Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed to making their community a better place, while supporting their Church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; it is supporting your local Catholic Church, while enhancing your own faith; it is about protecting and enhancing your family life.

Membership does not obligate one to devote any time at all. Knights are encouraged to be as active as they want, whether that is no time at all or many hours per week.

Faith, Family, and Fraternity make up the foundation of the Knights of Columbus. Amarillo Council 1450, which is one of the oldest councils in Texas, celebrated its One Hundredth Anniversary this year. It is a very active part of the parish life here at St. Mary’s Parish. These dedicated men assist those in crisis, encourage our youth, support both Boy and Girl Scouts, attend to many different needs of our school, and are involved in many other parish, school and community projects. They annually participate in the national movement to Keep Christ in Christmas.

Come see just what we are all about and take the first steps to enhance your personal life.
