There is always a need for Lay Ministers. Lay Ministers must be confirmed practicing Catholics and will be trained in their ministry. Training is available throughout the year.

The different areas of Lay Ministry are:

Lector-Proclaims the Word

Eucharistic Minister-Distribute Eucharist

Announcer-Gives Opening Greeting and Closing Announcements

Greeter-Is the first to greet those coming to Mass

Usher-Helps with seating, collection, and finds those who carry up the gifts

Sacristan-sets up for Mass

Altar Server-One who serves at Mass-must be in at least 3^rd grade.

There is also a great need for High School and Middle School Altar Servers for the

LIFETEEN and EDGE Masses.

Environment
