St. Mary’s After-Mass Prayer Ministry

Prayer "is the action of God and of man, springing forth from both the Holy Spirit and ourselves, wholly directed to the Father, in union with the human will of the Son of God made man." (Catechism, 2564)
We believe Prayer is absolutely fundamental to anything that is accomplished spiritually. Nothing of lasting value will take place unless it is birthed through prayer.
Purpose
The primary purpose of this ministry is minister to anyone in our parish who may need a prayer for a specific need or for a specific request. Whatever the type of needs our parishioners have, they can receive help from God in this ministry. Prayer Ministers are available in St. Mary’s Chapel immediately following each weekend Mass for a brief, one-on-one intercessory prayer.
Referral cards or appointments are not necessary-parishioners who need prayer simply come to the Chapel immediately after Mass.
